In this course the candidate will learn the technique to identify and establish the optimal business model, adoption model and target pricing for his/her product to ensure successful payment, adoption and ongoing use. The areas covered are: Firstly, what a business model is, Secondly, examine common models for types of products (consumer good, software, apps, services) and then. Finally, how to conduct a basic financial analysis in order to establish market pricing that results in a profitable product. This course is not about financial analysis but learning how to define critical “non-functional” aspects of your product that could make the difference between users adopting and paying, or simply overlooking and moving on despite what it does. The results of this course will then be applied to the product prototype, and further validated as part of the prototype market validation phase.
