On completion of this course you should be able to:

Critically reflect on the adequacy of ethical and legal frameworks for psychotherapeutic practice and how these can be used to develop the self as an ethical practitioner.
Critically reflect, analyse and synthesis the construction of knowledge research design and the application of research in applied psychotherapeutic contexts.

About this module

This module will equip you with the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours to develop competency to practice as an autonomous cognitive behavioural practitioner and to broaden the focus to incorporate an understanding of the epistemology of research and the use of research methods, ethics and legal frameworks and other professional areas that are essential for competent professional practice and lifelong learning within a psychotherapeutic context.
