Course Overview

This course will enable delegates to streamline repetitive tasks and display spreadsheet data in more visually effective ways. Delegates will use Excel to streamline and enhance spreadsheets with templates, charts, graphics, and formulas.
Prerequisites
  • We recommend that you have experience with creating, editing, formatting, saving, and printing basic spreadsheets in Excel. Students can obtain this level of skill by attending Excel Level 1.


Objectives


    Delegates will be able to :
  • Test a value in a specific cell to see if it meets a certain condition, Display a warning in a cell if the data does not meet the required criteria.
  • Create a summary sheet that will calculate the total for a range of sheets, without duplicating the data(i.e. Maybe an expenses sheet that takes the monthly totals and displays them on a summary sheet)
  • Filter a spreadsheet to show only the records that meet a specific criteria (i.e. All surnames beginning with A)
  • Display data in various graphical formats that can be easily understood by anyone not using Excel.
