This course offers a short historical and sociocultural view of Galicia and then focuses on three parts: Santiago de Compostela, La Coruña and Rias Altas & Bajas.The workshop explores the historical, cultural, natural and gastronomical aspects of cities and also of the main coast towns. It also offers an opportunity for Q&A for those who want to know more about this part of Spain.

- Historical view of Galicia: the past through the present

The course is based on the communicative approach: - active students’ interaction - emphasis on speaking and listening skills - pair and group work - role plays - use of realia, pictures and authentic material - use of audio-visual techniques when appropriate.
