To increase knowledge and understanding of how structure of the brain is linked to function. To become more aware of how knowledge of the structure of the brain can help in the understanding of what happens within a client's brain following trauma or CVA and other neurological conditions. To be able to use knowledge of the structure and function of the brain in developing imaginative treatment planning in rehabilitation. Be able to look at scans and clients medical notes with a deeper understanding of their content and implications. Suitable for professionals in rehabilitation: Physiotherapists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists and others, such as clinical psychologists and Speech & language therapists.
