About this course

No experience or qualification is needed as full anatomy and physiology is covered. Students must be dressed in salon wear with long hair tied back and minimal jewellery worn. No models required on day 1 and 2 as students will work on each other. Models will be required on day 3.

Course programme

The course is split into two days theory and practical, two or three weeks apart and then the third day of practical and written assessment.

The Content

Day 1, Skin analysis, skin terminology, skin types, client consultation, superficial and deep cleanse procedure and how to perform a selection of facials. Solutions product knowledge

A full demonstration will be given and students will have hands on practical in the afternoon. Students are asked to complete four case studies on specific clients for the second day.

Day 2 2/3 weeks later, students will cover face, neck and shoulder massage. Learn how to perform a selection of facials using different masks. Students will continue with case studies and learn the full facial and massage routine.

Day 3, Students will be assessed practically and a written paper will be sat. There will be an opportunity for discussion, case studies and feedback.

Time: 10.00am - 4.30pm

Duration: 2 Full Days and 1 Exam Day

Payment options: A deposit of £75.00 is required to secure your place and the remainder is payable 1 week before the course starts. Deposits are non-refundable. Price Includes: Facial training manual, comprehensive training kit. Light refreshments. Upon successful completion a certificate will be awarded. This course is NVQ level 2 equivalent.
