Family Bridging Part 1

Course Overview

When working with families, all members will not necessarily all come together, so time will be dedicated to exploring working with children, with one parent and child and with 3 family members before experiencing 4 or more people in the session.

It is possible that many delegates may have relevant experience & should be willing to share them during the course

Objectives

During the 4 days the course participants will

• Have learnt Solution Focussed techniques which can be used when working with children and families
• Have a greater understanding of the application of Narrative ideas to work with families
• Have been introduced to creative ideas of working with children of different ages
• Have practised working with 2 or more family members in the room, using role play, including families with adult children
• Have considered ways of working with conflict between family members.
