What will you be learning?
This course is aimed at people working towards a career in the textiles industry. Covering fashion and textiles, this course offers an introduction to a wide range of specialist techniques such as: Garment production; knitting; surface pattern design and pattern cutting. It will help you to develop your ideas, produce exciting sketchbooks and turn your designs into finished creations.

There are no exams on this course. Assessment is continuous and based on completion of individual projects.

What happens when you have finished?
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto the Foundation Degree in Fashion and Textiles or enter employment in areas such as fashion, textiles, costume design, buying, pattern cutting, styling and textile manufacturing.
