Fashion Drawing for Footwear and Accessories

This practical course will teach you how to draw and render footwear and accessories. The accessories covered in the course include: footwear, handbags, millinery and jewellery.

You will learn to draw the accessories from different angles and explore a variety of mediums and techniques. By the end of the course you will have developed the skills to draw and render accessories and be able to effectively communicate and present your design ideas.

The course includes:

• Shoe and boots silhouettes
• Hat silhouettes
• Principles of jewellery drawing and rendering coloured gemstones
• Full colour rendering for footwear, handbags and millinery
• Using different media and tools
• Rendering different materials and textures, including leather, patent leather, suede, canvas, fur, feathers, beading, sequins and lace.

Level:

The course is suitable for beginners and more experienced designers who would like to improve their existing skills.
