Course programme


Through the Extended Diploma, learners will develop a greater sense of independence and creativity extending, refining and developing their skills. It is also possible to complete the BTEC Extended Project qualification during the year, which is the equivalent of one AS level.




The course is made up of practical and theory projects and workshops giving learners the opportunity to expand their horizons in Fashion and textiles. Assignments on the course vary in timescale depending on the nature of the project.


The course structure remains consistent to the Level 3 programme but includes:



  • Fashion Promotion

  • Fashion Marketing

  • Creating Your Own Collection

  • Career Development and Enterprise.


You will also have the opportunity to work with specialists from various areas of the fashion industry.
