Structure
The course focuses on a range of specialist communication techniques - you begin by learning how to do the job of the journalist, the broadcaster or the blogger with whom you will be working. Initially you work side by side with them acquiring the same research skills, the same technical expertise, the same understanding of both the media and fashion. In exciting cross-course collaborations you learn media targeting, working with clients, forecasting, styling, location work, events organisation and professional presentation. You will also work in industry on major sponsored projects. All this is underpinned by a study of ethics and media law and contextualised by a broad programme of cultural studies.
Fashion, lifestyle, arts, music and culture provide the creative curricula content with industry-sponsored project work offering real-life problem solving scenarios as well as work placement opportunities.
