2. Course description Students will study the principles of fashion retailing and must complete 5 mandatory units and 4 optional units which relate directly to the fashion retail sector eg.  • Management Skills, • Store Operations, • Buying, • Styling • Visual Merchandising.  The delivery will include lectures, tutorials, live assignments, site visits, supervised study and assessment within a simulated or workplace environment.

Entry requirements You must have ONE of the following:      4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E), including English & Maths     Level 1 qualification at merit, plus GCSE English & Maths (1 at grade A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E)     Equivalent qualifications - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English  Adults 19+ who have industry experience BUT do not have the necessary qualifications can be invited in for interview. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method Assessment is continuous and will consist of a portfolio of reports, presentations and creative projects plus a final major project at the end of the year.
