About this course

To become a Personal Trainer.

Anyone who wants to become a Personal Trainer and do not hold a current Level 3 Gym qualification.

Over 18 years of age.

Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training (QCF)

You can motor straight through from Level 2 to Level 3 without the usual gap in between.

No - you should take our Personal Trainer Certificate which does not include the Level 2 qualification. This will bring you to the same level, so you will have the full Diploma from Active IQ.

Karl has been a fitness professional and trainer for 13 years. Karl has a very diverse and broad expertise in the areas of health and fitness, he talks and lectures on topics from female fat loss, hormones to psychology, exercise, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, performance, nutrition and everything in-between. He has a BSc (Hons). In sports therapy from the University of Teesside and further professional certifications and is currently pursuing an MSc in Rehabilitation.

How long is the training?
This is up to the individual, but generally it takes approximately 6 weeks of online study. The beauty of online learning is that you can move at fast as you like. Full support is given throughout, with scheduled checkups with your tutor to keep you on track.

Are there any days I need to attend?
Yes. Throughout your training, at certain stages, you are advised attend 2 Training Days and 2 obligatory Assessment Days at one of our academies in either Newcastle or London.

How often do the Training and Assessment days run?
Scheduled dates every 6 weeks.

What makes this a FastTrack Diploma?
