About the course
This course is aimed at students who are currently employed within the sector and already hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification. Attendance at college is part-time with students linking theory to their work-based practice. Common threads running through many of the core modules include theories of how children learn and develop, curriculum development, and observation and assessment. The work-based setting therefore facilitates much of the learning, and assignments will provide the learner with the opportunity to demonstrate competence in all topic areas.
