Entry requirements
You will need 180 UCAS tariff points in a minimum of 2 subjects. These can include:
A Levels at grade B and C, or above
BTEC Extended Diploma with Merit, Merit, Pass
Access to HE Diploma
You also need GCSE English and Maths (grade A*-C) or Level 2 equivalents.
If you do not hold the above qualifications but possess relevant work experience, you are invited to apply. Your application will be considered on an individual basis.

You will learn about contemporary issues associated with the travel and tourism industry, such as:
visitor attractions
tour operators
travel agencies
transportation for tourism
governments and tourism.
This is a vocationally focused course, with a range of management related modules to develop your personal and professional skills. You will learn about the areas of sales and marketing, legislative frameworks and managing people, providing you with the core knowledge to work successfully within a travel and tourism environment.
Our diverse module options and your dissertation will help you explore the areas of particular interest to you. This will help you explore your specialism, so you can identify and work towards your career goals.
If you already hold a related HND/FdA qualification and have relevant industry work experience, you can enter the final year of the degree directly. Other qualifications may also exempt you from part of the course. In Year Four (Year Three accredited work placement route) (Credit Level 6) you have the opportunity to choose optional modules, so you can tailor the course to suit you, and complete a dissertation based on an area of particular interest.
