Entry requirements For 2017 entry onwards: 80 UCAS points from two A' Levels or level 3 equivalent or an Access to HE Diploma. Students are also required to hold English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above. Programme Benefits Upon successful completion of this degree, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to pursue a technical career in a range of computing and IT related industries. Graduates will be able to undertake roles and manage projects which involve any aspect of networking, programming, website development, games development or graphic design. Graduates will also be eligible for entry onto BSc (Hons) Comptuing Technologies Top-Up (subject to validation). Learning & Teaching Methods Methods of learning and teaching are designed to support students in becoming active members of a learning community. Students will be expected to work together in an informal environment as well as in formal classes where a culture of dignity, courtesy and mutual respect with staff and their peers is essential. A variety of methods will be used such as lectures, seminars, practical workshops and student led seminars. Integrating a work-based or placement opportunity, students will be visited in the workplace by a member of Institute staff to ensure a positive partnership between the employer mentor and to monitor that learning in the workplace is effective. Workplace learning is designed to support the development of an employable graduate equipped with the attributes, skills and knowledge to progress within a global market.
