Very often our client presents with an injury that has come on gradually. The aetiology may not be clear. In these cases a full assessment is required, but how do we go about this?
The course combines both practical and theory elements and teaches the importance of one-legged stability, spinal stability in sport, and breathing. Muscles contract and are major contributors to body stability. They need to be able to work concentrically, eccentrically and isometrically to support and move us efficiently.
Therapists are now being consulted more and more by athletes and the public. This course aims to improve the understanding of assessment, prevention, functional exercise and how to develop an effective treatment plan. A two-week email support is also offered from the course date. For more information and to book please see our website: https://www.fht.org.uk/how-to-treat-sports-injuries
