About this course

By the end of your third year you'll have worked with your fellow students and the staff at Regent's to produce short films and create scripts for a TV pilot and a feature film. Working with students from around the world will allow you to draw on a broad range of perspectives on writing and producing. You'll develop key skills which are essential for career success as a scriptwriter-producer - or you'll discover more roles in the industry that excite you.

This programme aims to equip you with the full range of skills needed to work as a writer, director or producer in the TV or film industry - and to understand the roles of many others you will work with in the future. You will gain production and management expertise, together with industry-standard skills in script evaluation and the ability to write high-quality scripts yourself.

Graduates from this programme have gone on to work with national TV broadcasters and international film studios, or have started up their own production companies.

A Regent’s education provides you with a high level of personal attention, and this begins from the moment you apply to study with us. We want to understand who you are and what your skills and interests may be – we are interested in your potential, as well as your prior achievements.
