This programme is built on the acquisition of relevant subject knowledge, critical approaches and key skills in Year 1. These are developed in Years 2 and 3 while integrating the study of film and creative practices in film, and enhancing research skills to allow you to work in both independent and informed ways at advancedlevels of study.Practical work develops integrated knowledge of a wide range of theoretical concepts and the ability to employ methodological skills and tools applicable to career in scriptwriting, screenplay development and other creative text production roles in the media/film industry.In Year 2, you take two/three Film Studies and two/three Screenwriting optional modules depending on which area you choose to undertake your Dissertation in. In Year 3, you choose at least three Film Studies and three Screenwriting optional modules.
