The finishing worker is a worker who deals with the finishing process, i.e. treatments carried out to improve the characteristics of the fabric. It is applied to pieces already woven and removed from the loom, to knitted and jersey fabrics. Some operations alter the structure of the fabrics to bring about qualitative improvements, others bring about superficial modifications to make them more pleasant appearance or adapt it to the needs of fashion.
