Course programme
First Aid For Children & Babies
Simply First Aid runs courses throughout the UK and Europe.
Our approach to training keeps you at the centre of things....we know you don't want to be talked at for the duration of the course. A variety of methods are used to meet the needs of all our learners. You will get the opportunity to practice and put the learning into context and will have ample opportunity to ask questions and discuss topics until you are happy that you understand the information.
This 3 hour course will prepare you by teaching you how to plan for emergencies, how to manage a child who is not responding to you, how to resuscitate a child that has stopped breathing, what to do if they are choking and how to control severe bleeding. In addition to the Emergency Life Support syllabus you will gain an awareness of how to recognise and manage a seriously ill child, specifically seizures, heat stroke, head injuriesand meningitis and scepticaemia.
After our courses you will get the opportunity to purchase first aid equipment and kits for your home and family.
