First Aid at Work

Included in the course cost

We supply everything that the students will need on the course. The students just need to turn up on time on the day ready to learn.

For the student:

• First Aid Manuals We provide full first aid at work manuals that are updated to the latest European Resuscitation Council (UK) guidance for each delegate. The student will also receive separate handouts for various subjects including the primary and secondary surveys.
• Pens & paper We will provide a pen and note taking paper for each student. This will make it easy for you as the delegate. You just need to turn up ready and willing to learn
• Feedback forms We provide feedback forms for the delegates to fill out about our performance however we can also provide feedback for each delegate if required on their performance on the course.
• Certificates Each student is given a certificate (upon passing the course) that is validated by the HSE for 3 years
• A first aid forum This is where students can come and share experiences or ask questions they may have relating to first aid

For the Course:

• Projector If required we can provide a projector for extra training resources such as videos and powerpoint presentations
• Flipcharts We can deliver a full course using flipcharts and hands on experience. We also incorporate flipcharts into our presentations
• CPR Manikins We provide manikins for students to practice CPR on as well as practice with choking casualties.
• Bandages and wipes We provide sets of bandages for pupils to practice bandaging for bleeding, bones and burns
• Simulation Aids These are used to tailor training to the environment that you work in
• Other Consumables relevant to the course

For the Company:

• Tracking of expiry dates We provide a full service that includes the tracking of certificate expiry dates taking the worry away from you. We can then let you know in advance when your certificates will expire and when other courses are available in time for refreshing your certificate thus keeping yourself and your employees with continually valid certificates.
• FREE First aid refreshers* The HSE recomends that each first aider have a 1/2 day refresher course each year. We are proud to be one of the only companies that will provide this service for FREE(Subject to Terms & Conditions see below for more info) with our courses. This can be an invaluable service for staff especially if they have not covered anything first aid related in that year.
• Feedback forms We can provide feedback to you regarding students performance

As you can see we provide everything needed for your students to learn and pass the course with confidence. If you have any other specific requirements give us a call and we can arrange to suit your needs.

External Training Venues

If you require us to provide training facilities we can arrange venues local to you. Add £200 onto the course price.

Free Yearly Refreshers*

The 2 refreshers are included free with the course. We will first contact you approximately 10 months after the initial course date and book 2 months in advance for the refresher then 10 months after the 1st refresher course. It is an "In-House" course that lasts 1/2 a day. We will arrange a day that is mutually agreeable and the course will need a minimum of 6 students.

The student should bring their first aid manual with them along with any questions to be answered.
