The First Aid at Work (requalification) course requalifies and updates those who need to renew or requalify their statutory certificate. The course is for those with an existing certificate which will still be in date on the last day of the requalification course. The course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be First Aiders in the workplace for the next three years.
Delegates will be sent details of the online part of the course approximately fourteen days before the tutor-led classroom based day. The online part must be successfully completed before the tutor-led classroom day (short assessment at the end of the e-Learning with a maximum of three attempts).

About this course
A student who wishes to renew a valid First Aid at Work certificate (you must present a valid, in date First Aid at Work certificate on the first day of the course to the Trainer)
PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT FIRST AID AT WORK (not Emergency First Aid at Work) CERTIFICATE WHICH IS ‘IN-DATE’ ON THE TUTOR LED DAY OF THE COURSE

- Dealing with accidents and illness
- Using a First Aid kit

- Resuscitation including defibrillation

- Six hours of e-learning first.
- You must complete the e-learning before you attend on the tutor-led day, or you will be excluded at full cost to you.
- There is an end of e-learning examination which you must obtain at least 80% correct answers to complete the e-learning.
- You can only take the e-learning examination three times before you are deemed to have failed the entire course at full cost to you.
- Seven hours in the classroom, excluding breaks
