Course Content:
The course includes a large amount of practical work supported by written work. In addition to the full-time hours you will be expected to undertake approximately six hours independent study each week. You will study a range of subject areas, namely Planning and Creating a Music Product, Exploring the Music Profession and other units such as Producing a Musical Recording, Exploring Computer Systems Used by Musicians. In addition you may study for an additional qualification in a relevant subject.
Progression:
Upon successfully attaining at least a Merit grade you could progress to a Level 3 course such as National Diploma in Performing Arts
