2. Course description The QT7 Extended Certificate in Business is a practical, work-related course and is designed to prepare you for employment or further vocational study. Your learning will be enhanced by completing projects and assignments based on realistic work situations and demands. The practical emphasis of our programme means that you will be exposed to particular areas of employment, and will gain a strong foundation to later pursue a more advanced work-related qualification. All students take three mandatory units (Enterprise in the Business World, Finance for Business and Principles of Marketing) and a number of additional optional units (including Promoting a Brand, Principles of Customer Service, Using Business Documentation, Building Successful Business Teams, Visual Merchandising in Retail Business, Recruitment, Sales and Personal Selling, Financial Planning and Forecasting).
