First Musical Academy is driven by the vision of upgrading the musical education and artistic development in East London. We aim at accessing people of all ethnic groups and backgrounds, nurturing their talents in music thus helping them to become more confident and gain qualifications.FMA is a registered Arts Awards Centre. This means we can now register students who want to achieve an Arts Award. The Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification at two levels: bronze and silver. Young people aged 11-25 are eligible to apply for the Arts Award. Colleges, Universities and employers look for such qualification that proves your skills as artists. We also aim at reaching out for the isolated, vulnerable and underprivileged of society by means of getting them involved in creative music and art classes unleashing their potential and helping them to feel part of a supportive and friendly community in FMA and beyond. We offer scholarships to talented disadvantaged young people.
