Myrto Loulaki was born in Athens. She was involved in musical activities at an early stage with Orff system. At the age of 12 she began the flute studies while continuing the recorder. At the same age she became a member of the Greek Radio Children’s choir. In 1997 she was chosen to sing Ave Maria (Bach-Gounod) with the Greek Radio Symphony Orchestra at their Christmas Concert at Pallas concert Hall. In 1999 continuing her flute, recorder and theory studies she started the piano. She took part at the International Kodaly seminars in Hungary’s Kecskemet in 1999 and in 2001.

Stanislava  Vajarova

Soprano Stanislava Vajarova is an experienced vocal tutor and workshop leader and Co-Director of First Musical Academy. Her valuable expertise in different styles and ages allows her to to bring out the best in her students thus achieving excellent results and opening up their vocal potential. Stanislava uses a series of enjoyable exercises for establishing and improving of the vocal and breathing technique as well as body work. She has trained extensively as a teacher with acclaimed pedagogues at Music Leader and Vocal Nosh. She believes singing is for everyone!

Course programme

The Choir/Group Singing will be divided in adults and children. The Choir will have a performance at least twice per term, in the school in The Performance Classes and in external concerts. Wide range of repertoire will be covered - gospel, classical and opera, popular, musical, etc. The conductor and leader of the adult Choir is Stanislava Vajarova and of the Children's Vocal ensemble Myrto Loulaki.

Payment options: Choir (Group Singing) - £50 for 10 weekly sessions (Groups for adults and children) Ways of Payment: * Cheque - handed to one of the Administrators * Cash - payments in person at the Academy * Online BACS payment to FMA's account - Account details will only be provided upon request. Once you make the payment for your course, you receive a Student Welcome Pack and you are ready to commence your course.
Comments: FMA Opening Times: Monday to Friday: 3.45 pm - 8.00 pm. Saturday: 10.15 am - 4.00 pm. Sunday: Closed. The Enrolment for all courses, workshops and Masterclasses is open throughout the year. You can study any course and you can start at any time during the School Terms as long as there is availability.
