Unit 3: Cardio Repiratory system

  • the anatomy & physiology of the heart and the circulatory system

  • the elements necessary for designing an exercise program, including the warm up, cardio phase and cool down
  • how to calculate your training rate so that you are training effectively at the right level for you

Unit 4: Flexibility, stretching and relaxation

  • what are the benefits of stretching

  • the area of stress and relaxation

Unit 5: The nuts and bolts of nutrition
