Fitt - Pilates Small Equipment

Course review:

This one-day REPs accredited small equipment Pilates course is for all Pilates instructor's wanting to learn how to bring equipment into their classes. The course will teach you to use relevant pieces of equipment with individuals and groups, you will learn how using small equipment can change to feel and dynamics of an exercise. The day will also cover correct teaching of exercises, progressions, adaptations and contraindications.

You will learn how to use:

• Spiky balls
• Magic circles
• Advanced circles
• Basic foam rollers
• Hand weights and foam rollers
• Advanced foam rollers

This course will give you an increased repertoire of exercises using all of the above equipment, at the end of the day you will have an understanding of how each of these bits of equipment can improve kinaesthetic feedback and muscular recruitment within the Pilates context.

You will be awarded a certificate of attendance and 8 REPs points.
