Course Aims:
Students will be provided with practical skills and knowledge needed to begin the design process for floristry. It aims to give you ability to use a range of materials and mediums to be able to develop your own performance. Including general understanding of work related experience in floristry.
Course Content:
With support and guidance from your tutor, in a friendly atmosphere you will familiarise yourself with craft materials, resources, tools and equipment. This will include floristry display techniques, floristry interior design, designs in different mediums and indoor plant care.

Each student will be expected to keep a folder for handout sheets, research and student planning and preparation for their project work.
Assessment is ongoing. Students will produce a portfolio of work showing completion / evidence of units which are assessed by the tutor and verified by an external ncfe moderator.
