This course will give you an understanding of the floristry industry and will allow you to develop higher level skills in a wide range of floristry techniques including the planning, assembly and evaluation of sympathy floristry, diverse floral wedding designs, novelty designs, cultural floristry designs and diverse floral arrangements.
This skill development will be supplemented by an understanding of the business management techniques in floristry including retail merchandising, legislation and marketing strategies which will prepare you for entry into employment or progression to a higher level course. This course is the equivalent of 3 GCE A Levels and generates UCAS points that will allow you to progress into HE onto one of the diverse floristry and floristry related degrees that are becoming available .
