To train in the safe operation of a Rough Terrain FLT following a prescribed syllabus as set out by RTITB (the accrediting body). To pass a practical and theoretical test to RTITB standard. Suitable for: This course is mandatory under the Health and safety regulations PUWER 1998 (Provisions and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) for operators with previous training & certification.

Over 16 years old, must be medically and physically fit.

RTITB theory and practical test
Training Methods:
Classroom theory presentation and practical training - Duration stipulated as per RTITB criteria.
Refresher Requirements:
Industry recognised 3 to 5-year refresher, following incident, unfamiliar with existing equipment, change of use, new equipment, dangerous type of operation e.g. acid movement.
