Course Details

AutoLisp Customisation based on AutoCAD 2002 or 2004

Overview

It is intended for those who require the necessary knowledge and skills (demonstrated by "hands on" exercises) to enable customisation programming to be produced efficiently.

Pre-Requisite

Previous (good) knowledge of AutoCAD 2002 or 2004. The ability to use a Windows file editor eg Notepad etc. is useful but not essential.

Objectives

On successful completion of the course, the attendee will be shown:-

• Creating and saving files using a Windows editor.
• Introduction to programming.
• Defining functions and automatic function loading.
• System Variables and commands.
• General functions.
• Selection filters and entity manipulation.
• User input.
• Good programming techniques.
• Error Handling.
• Creation of complete simple lisp programs.
