Foundation in Business Studies

This full-time course has been designed to give students the knowledge of the elementary business topics which are required for the study of professional business courses, and to provide a useful course in itself. It is especially effective for students with little or no business experience and/or who are returning to studies after a gap year (or longer).

The course lasts one term (September to December) only but can be followed by the ABE Certificate from January to June and consists of the following subjects:

1. Business English
2. Business Calculations
3. Introduction to Management
4. Introduction to Accounts

Examinations are held at the end of each term.

Students who are successful in all four subjects will receive a Foundation Certificate in Business Studies from the City Business College.
