Course Content: This undergraduate course developed in-conjunction with University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) comprises of 12 modules structured along four programme theme areas of Construction Management, Technology, Science and Professional. Modules covered include Electrical, Mechanical Services Systems, Building Services Engineering Systems and Integrative Projects. The course also responds directly to the need for understanding new technologies and the global and local importance of sustainability.

Special Features: Excellent partnership links with major industry partners like Balfour Beatty for site visits and input to enhance vocational aspects of students learning. The course franchised from UCLan is designed to satisfy the CIBSE academic accreditation requirements for the TechEng professional membership registration.

Course Format: The course is tutor led with various components in the course, including lectures, assignments, individual and group projects, case studies, team role playing in problem solving, site visits, guest lectures and e-learning.

Progression: Following successful completion of the foundation degree learners, will be able to progress to higher degrees, either a BSc (Hons) or the BEng after passing a bridging module. Learners will have the opportunity to progress towards the following degree programmes at the University of Central Lancashire:
