Where will I study?
Baltic Campus
You'll be based at our fantastic £39million Baltic campus on the quayside. The campus has a prime location on Gateshead quayside, and state-of-the-art facilities including a Jacuzzi, gym and sauna, a 200 seat theatre, state-of-the-art classrooms, training kitchen and restaurant, refectory, bistro and vending areas.
How will I be assessed?
There are a number of assessment methods, including case studies, research projects and written assignments.
Can I go onto further study?
The foundation degree is equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate degree programme and successful candidates can opt to progress onto the third and final year of the BA (Hons) in Health and Social Care or BSc (Hons) in Community Health at the University of Sunderland.
