100 UCAS points; from A Levels or equivalent e.g. BTEC National Certificate, Award or Diploma
GCSEs English Language and Mathematics (grade C or above) or equivalent.
Students with relevant HNCs may be able to transfer credit in certain modules onto the Foundation Degree.
Students without the necessary qualifications but with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.

There is a great future in the health and fitness industry as local and national government recognize the value of exercise in combating poor health. Craven College's Foundation Degree in Sports Development and Coaching has been developed in partnership with the University of Bradford. This is obviously an added attraction both for you and employers. It is important that those who work in Sports Development lead by example and so improving your personal fitness, skill levels and coaching ability is a must on this course.
You can study for industry-relevant coaching qualifications alongside your Foundation Degree and you will have the chance to work with local schools, leisure centres and sports clubs to give you range of coaching opportunities.
