What is the course about?
A 2-year part-time programme validated by Thames Valley University.
Learners attend 1 day a week teaching (afternoon and evening sessions) to develop skills of reflective practice and academic writing and study skills of analysis and evaluation.
What are the course outcomes?

·Explore opportunities to develop practice based on current theoretical, legal and ethical perspectives.
Outcomes for year 2 at level 5
Analyse and demonstrate knowledge and critical understanding of the well-established principles for working with children, young people and the way those priniciples have developed.
·Ability to evaluate and apply underlying concepts and principles and the application of those principles in a work context to inform planning.
·To critically evaluate the different approaches to solving problems and applying these in a work context.
·Assess, review and evaluate theoretical perspective.
