The emphasis in this degree is linking the theory and practice of Early Years in a way that enables the practitioner to widen and deepen their own practice and understanding, and maximise their opportunities to progress in their careers. The course incorporates the Common Core competencies (DFES 2005) required of the Children's Workforce.
