Foundation Certificate in PRINCE2 All Parity PRINCE2 courses are now based on 2005, 4th edition of PRINCE2 Manual: Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 .

This course is primarily aimed at staff in a junior team manager or project support and assurance role in a PRINCE2 environment who require a formal qualification in the project management method.

To effectively prepare for the PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate Examination delegates should be prepared to undertake revision work in the evenings. Skills Gained
This course will enable delegates to:
  • Understand the components and main processes of PRINCE2 .
  • Apply the processes of Controlling a Stage and Managing Product Delivery.
  • Prepare for and take the PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate examination.
Pre-Requisites
There are no prerequisites other than an awareness of project work. Course Content
Projects and Project Management Overview of PRINCE2 The PRINCE2 Process model Organisation Management of risk Business Case Plans and Product-based Planning Controls Quality and the Quality Review Technique Change Control and Configuration Management Examinations
The examination scheme is administered by the Association for Project Management Group Ltd. The Foundation examination is a one-hour, 75 questions, multi-choice paper.
Notes
There is some pre-course reading which will be sent to participants prior to attendance and there will be some evening revision and exam preparation work throughout the course.
Parity PRINCE2 courses are now based on 2005, 4th edition of PRINCE2 Manual: Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 .
A free copy of the PRINCE2 manual published by TSO will be provided to all P2F delegates (normal price £55).
