What qualifications do I need?

There are no formal entry requirements, all students will be invited to an interview.

What’s involved?

A practical based programme tailored to support your independent living skills and where appropriate, your skills to help you obtain supported employment. There are many different modules you can work on including Cookery, Healthy Eating, Community Participation, Woodwork, IT and Using Public Transport.


Maths and English are embedded throughout but if possible you are encouraged to work towards a qualification in Functional Skills Maths or English.

How will I be studying?

Small supported groups of approximately eight students. Maximum of 15 hours per week, either as three full days or up to four days (half day options available for Personal Progress groups).

Where can I move on to after this course?

You can extend your qualification or progress on to the next level. Past students have also moved in to supported employment.
