Foundation Studies

During the course you will study a range of employability and personal development modules including: Health and safety Interpersonal skills Employability Team building Citizenship Sport Drug and alcohol awareness Learning skills Time and money You will also study for qualifications in English, maths and ICT Functional Skills, and get the change to do some work experience and attend taster sessions of other college courses that you might be interested in.

You will be required to put together a portfolio of work which will be continually assessed throughout the course. There will be exams for English Maths and ICT Functional Skills. What can I do next? The skills you will learn from this course will enable you to progress on to a higher level foundation learning programme or another course at the college.
