These four-day courses offer students with little or no previous experience a unique opportunity to work as a team to write, perform, shoot and screen a short film, learning practical skills and the importance of teamwork along the way.

Under the tuition of our award-winning filmmakers, students embark on a whistle-stop tour of film’s origins and history: they learn the basics of acting, writing, editing, camerawork and even fight choreography – before they get out there and actually do it for themselves. Everyone has a chance to develop his or her own role and no one escapes without saying “ACTION!”

Finally, after four action-packed days, the cast and crew - along with friends and family - are invited to enjoy the Premiere of the completed film. There’s an awards ceremony and a DVD of the film for each student to keep forever – a timeless record of their first steps into the world of cinema.
