About the course:
The week I spent at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management during this course was wonderful. This course is well balanced since it mixes coaching, practical cases and creative sessions with women around the world. The school is amazingly organized and have a great qualified staff. I consider this programme as a valuable experience that helped me understanding how it is to be a leader using my skills. I definitely recommend it.

About the course:
This course was more than what I expected. It makes youo aware of the differences between men and women when it comes to communication, since we do it quite differently.
It helped me understanding my own communication style in order to be more effective as a leader.
What I liked the most was the practical advice on how to become a better negotiatior by listenning and getting rid of one's preconceptions. Excellent chance to make new relationships with other women from every background.

What I would highlight:
The Course was delivered using a virtual network but was very interactive with videos, forum and regular emails coming from the tutors. The Content in my view was suitable for individuals who were new to the Climate Finance industry as very little technical language was used. I was extremely impressed with the structure of the course. I was introduced to the the basics of the Climate problem, the way in which climate financing evolved and the current status and challenges.
What could be improved:
The Course could have dealt with some more in-depth analysis of renewable energy projects especially within Small Islands context.

What I would highlight:
This course is the best I have taken in the whole master so far. It was absolutely clear and very well structured. The assignments were difficult enough to spend time on it and keep learning while solving them. The course content was formulated in a compelling manner and it proves that learning doesn’t have to be a painful activity. It was also very deep and objective, showing the shortcomings of microfinance and risks of mission drift and the trade-off between financial and social performance of a purpose-driven institution.
I think that everybody should learn from those who created the course on how to develop learning material that stays with the students.
What could be improved:
There are too many recommended readings and it is difficult to understand what is most important. Also, as additional learning material you could create expert interviews (6-8 min max) where a person directly involved in the topic can provide first hand feedback on how some mechanisms work in practice.

What I would highlight:
I am glad and even proud of having completed and passed such a challenging course with the excellence characterized by the German education.I have to say that this course really helped me get a strong sense on the risk management for banking and microfinance as a whole picture of an MFI and not just to be too much "inward looking" but rather strategically blue-sky thinking to be better prepared for market volatility.

What I would highlight:
Ayant fait initialement des études Universitaires scientifiques, j’ai dû faire quelques reconversions d’ordre professionnelles, pour atterrir finalement au service des opérations d’une institution financière. Forte d’une expérience managériale confortable, je voulais avoir une meilleure assise dans un métier de la finance. Un collègue m’a parlé de cette école et je m’y suis inscrite, quoi qu’avec beaucoup d’appréhension, car consciente de mes limites en comptabilité et en finances. Très vite cependant, l’intensité des cours et la densité des devoirs m’ont fait oublier mes craintes. Une bonne dose de bon sens et de la détermination sont alors devenues mes chevaux de batailles. J’ai tremblé mais j’ai osé. J’ai osé et j’ai réussi. Aujourd’hui j’ai plus confiance en moi et ne me sens plus inférieure face à mes collègues qui ont fait de longues études de gestion.

What I would highlight:
My studies at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management taking the Certified Expert in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance course was a great experience. The concise lectures that were well articulated and the support from e-Campus team made learning fun and engaging. More so the eye-opening on global issues on climate change, renewable energy and finance thereof is truly precious. The ultimate knowledge gained is invaluable and worth the time and effort. I am already applying this knowledge in my work in international development finance. Thank you all for making it happen.

What I would highlight:
Overall, the course was excellently organized, well managed and gave a great insight into the different types of finance available for climate and renewable energy projects. As someone without a finance background, I found the first few units were a very useful introduction to the topics of climate finance and environmental economics, making the later units easier to follow. The format of the online course with short tests at the end of each unit made it easier to stick to the proposed deadlines and keep up with the work. Trainers were always quick to respond to any questions raised by participants and this engagement really made the learning process easier. The online platform was easy to use and the forums provided a great space for discussions on course material.
What could be improved:

What I would highlight:
The course program was really interesting because after the course you have the ability to understand the micro-insurance industry and even manage a micro-insurance institution. It was really practical and I have the opportunity to work on my own micro-insurance company as an exercise. I really like the fact that teachers provide personal feedback regarding practical exercises. Teachers was always available to interact online with us and that is really important for us in our learning process. They provide additional materials online such as a library and online videos. Most importantly, I appreciate the motivation provide by the organizers regarding timeline reminders which prevent me from missing an important deadline.
What could be improved:
This course is so important that I would recommend to translate in other languages particularly in french. A lot of my colleague would like to take this course but they speak only french. It would be interesting if they could provide additional documents regarding actuarial calculations for those who would like to master this section. It would be interesting to have a follow-up opportunity for those who would like to keep in touch with their teachers and fellow students.

What I would highlight:
En plus de la flexibilité et la liberté dans la gestion du temps qu'on retrouve dans toutes les formations à distance, la Frankfurt School m'a surtout impressionné par sa plateforme e-campus très intuitive et conviviale. What I would highlight:
The training materials of Frankfurt School are of very high top quality. At the end of a course, you're an expert. After my first course in risk management, I got a far better position in another company through a selection between more than 300 candidates.
My goal in doing islamic microfinance course was to learn a way of practising development finance differently. I am thouroughly satisfied because we receive many practical cases, deep explanations and I feel at ease in designing innovative financial products for the SME'S.
What could be improved:
the names in Arabic language were quite difficult for me to remember.

What I would highlight:
Je suis convaincu que la microfinance est un puissant vecteur de lutte contre la pauvreté et l’exclusion financière. Depuis 2006, j’ai exercé tous les métiers au sein d’IMF de référence en Afrique subsaharienne. Les besoins de services financiers sont colossaux mais le manque de professionnalisme dans la gestion des activités fait que la plupart des institutions ne sont pas pérennes. C’est justement le désir de me professionnaliser davantage qui m’a motivé à m’inscrire au cours de la Frankfurt School. Grace à la flexibilité de la méthode d’enseignement et à la richesse de la documentation, cette formation en microfinance m’a permis de découvrir les meilleures pratiques et techniques de gestion des IMF. Aujourd’hui, plus que jamais, me voilà doté de techniques supplémentaires me permettant de rectifier chaque jour nos pratiques actuelles dans toutes les sphères de compétences : améliorations de la qualité d’administration et de gestion de prêts ; amélioration de la qualité des ressources humaines (recrutement, formation, motivation) ; amélioration du suivi et surtout amélioration de la qualité de la relation client.

What I would highlight:
The Delivery method was fantastic,easy to use and available for usage,the reading materials were well summarized with very important issues on Financial Inclusion Policy,the method of assessment using the tests after every unit was very good and the assignments were relevant and practical.Considering the quality of information given and delivery method there was value for money,this information provided is very important and this can help in guiding Regulatory authorities for Financial Inclusion, Government, Financial Service Providers, Non-Financial Service Providers, Ministries and other Partners in have good Financial Inclusion Regulatory framework in the country.

What could be improved:
Course material are good but needs to be abridged a bit as it is difficult for working professional's to go through such extensive syllabus. I believe the course designed from Frankfurt School is sufficient. There is no need to three months classes at BIBM and sit for a written exam afterwards.

What I would highlight:
I am so proud as i am one of the risk management experts who became certified by Frankfurt School. The courses content was inclusive optimally and so advanced. It took most my daily time reading the material, listening to the videos, practicing an excel file, and resolving the assignments.
It was great training opportunity with Professor Joachim Bald who is the best Professor in risk management in the world, in my opinion.
What could be improved:
I suggest;
- The video files be small size, because as you know that some countries have weak internet services, so the trainees will suffer more to listening to the video. I was suffer from this problem.
- To establish forum for alumni to sharing and interchanging there experience in the future and to build relation with each other.
