Overview
Our French BA course offers a stimulating and varied programme of study with core modules in the French language focusing on high-level skills in written and oral French. You can also choose optional modules across a range of French and Francophone literature, culture, history and politics from the Middle Ages to today. Through the course you will develop a broad and profound knowledge of French culture, as well as an excellent capacity for critical thinking and analysis, all while specialising in areas of most interest to you. You will spend one year studying abroad in a French-speaking country.
