This GCSE course is for those who have already completed the one-term Pre-GCSE course or its equivalent, asyou willneed to haveknowledge of past, present and future tenses and a range of everyday and holiday vocabulary. Your level of spoken French will be assessed.
What will I study? You will extend your knowledge of grammar and your range of vocabulary whilst practising the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
What qualification will I get? GCSE French
What can I do after the course? If you achieve a grade C or above, you will be able to progress on to the AS course.
How do I get on the course? Come to City and Islington Sixth Form College, 283 Goswell Road, EC1on the first evening of the class. Places are subject to availability.
How much does the course cost? Home students aged 16-18 do not pay the course fee. Concessionary students aged 19 or over pay a £40 registration annual charge which covers any courses where concessions are available.
