This course aims to encourage you to speak French more freely. It will develop your listening skills, reinforce your confidence and increase your knowledge of French through a variety of contexts ranging from personal to social.

About this course

Homework will be based on: Grammaire progressive du français, niveau intermédiaire - new edition (CLE International). Please note that the book is used as a support only. You will not cover all the activities in the book during the course.Please try: Grant and Cutler - (020 7734 2012) and The European Bookshop - (020 7734 5259).
The course is based on the communicative approach:- active students’ interaction- emphasis on speaking and listening skills- pair and group work- role plays- use of realia, pictures and authentic material- use of audio-visual techniques when appropriatePlease note, students are expected to participate in oral classroom activities and to do some homework as and when required.

Course programme
Grammar: revision/consolidation of past tenses (passé composé & imparfait), future tenses (futur simple & futur proche) and pronouns.
Themes : a variety of topics related to France and French-speaking countries will be selected depending on current issues and/or tutor's appropriate material.
You will receive a detailed syllabus of the course at the beginning of the term.

French 3 lower: module 2. Please enrol on the next module as soon as possible as spaces cannot be guaranteed.
