French Level 4

This course is designed for people who have already mastered the language structure, who have a good command of French (A2 qualification or have progressed from Level 3+ course). The course will enable you to develop the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as in-depth study of grammatical structures and to increase vocabulary skills, expressions and idioms.

During the course, you will have the opportunity to learn more about culture and customs of France as well as of other Francophone countries. The course is run in French and the emphasis is for you to converse in French, to understand more complex conversations, read and comprehend authentic written articles on unfamiliar subjects and write in a style appropriate to the context. You will be working individually, in pair, in small groups or as a whole class.

Homework: reading an authentic article, preparing for a presentation or a debate and personal research (recommended homework time: minimum 2.00 hours per week).
