Artist Instructor

Marcia Teusink has over fifteen years experience teaching art in museums and schools. She has taught in California, New York, Switzerland, and Italy, at places such as the Brooklyn Museum, Pratt Institute of Art & Design, and the Zurich Kunsthaus, among others. Marcia holds an MFA in Visual Art from the City University of New York, Queens College, and is currently studying museum education at the Institute of Education, London University.

Course programme

Course review:

This class will be focussed on The Body and will take place in various museums and collections around London. The course is not at raditional figure drawing class, but rather will investigate different objects related to the body, such as clothing, body ornatmentation, and medical artefacts. You supply your own sketchbook and pencils, and I supplement your kit with different papers and drawing utensils to expand your repertoir.
