See a decadent world of cafés and glamour turned upside down (and in several other directions) by the revolutionary dynamism of the Avant-Garde, as poster design lapped up the latest advances in modern art: from Cubism and Futurism, to the revolutionary designs of the Soviet Constructivists.
Explore how posters became perhaps the art-form of the 20th Century, with their strong links to both Pop and Protest. We’ll glance at how Pop Artists like Peter Blake and Andy Warhol played with the poster form.
